Hello!

We are a mother and daughter blog exploring the benefits of healthy eating, while incorporating French culture and tradition.

Christmas in the Ardèche

Christmas in the Ardèche

We hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas, and spent some time with loved ones. Over here in the Ardèche, Christmas was spent with family and delicious French food. Christmas Eve or Réveillon is the most important aspect of the holidays. A longer dinner, that usually goes past midnight, features many traditional dishes including thirteen desserts! Its safe to say that after our Réveillon we were happily stuffed. Below are some photos of some of the dishes we made, and how we prepared our home for the festive season.

Pictured above is smoked salmon on toasted bread with butter and lemon.

Above we have pictured toast with red pepper hummus, trout spread, eggplant spread, and tzatziki.

Happy Holidays from the Ardèche!
