Aug 22 Day Two in the Loire Valley

Our second day in the Loire Valley was spent exploring some of the smaller villages in the area. As we drove around we could not believe the beautiful scenery, vineyards and old windmills covered the land. Here are a few photos that captured some of the moments exploring the area.

We made a stop at a village that has a medieval cemetery, which you are allowed to visit. Unfortunately it is not well preserved, but we were able to make out some of the names and dates that were carved on the stone.
